Shreya Srivathsan, Hill Top Times Assistant Editor

Shreya Srivathsan is a senior at Rock Hill High School. She was born in Chennai, India, and grew up moving a lot, but she has made Texas her home for seven years now. She started her news career by freelancing for RH Media and grew to love Hill Top Times. Her aspirations are to become a lawyer and go into campaign management in politics. She is absolutely elated to be a part of RH Media and hopes to change how politics are viewed to be in more of a positive and non-partisan light.

Ginsburg died on September 18, leaving questions about the future of the Supreme Court, and the rest of the country. The U.S. lost a judicial icon and historic trail blazer, sophomore and columnist Shreya Srivathsan. She was known for her tireless efforts of fighting for womens rights, race, gender equality and LGBTQ+ rights.

During the school day, breaks should be integrated into both an online and in-person learning setting, she said. If we dont take breaks we are not going to reach our productive capabilities, which is one of Rock Hill High Schools core values.
