Flyers providing information for a Dual Credit course offered at RHHS is set out at the EXPO Night on Jan. 19. Counselors and teachers want to make sure rising and current RHHS students know about Dual Credit options to choose courses that best fit them. Junior Ethan Malcolm said, “Dual Credit is a great way to fulfill high school course requirements and college credits at the same time.”

Junior Emma Palmese sews for a project in the schools fashion room. I honestly think more people should get into sewing. Its less wasteful. Some people throw away shirts if they need a button sewn. The fashion department took in clothing donations from students to use for their spring fashion show, opting for a more sustainable production.

The RHHS fashion department has flyers around the school prompting students to donate old clothes to use in projects. With the flyers around school (asking for donations) students might double think about the clothes in their closet, and if theres something there thats been in there for months they think about how someone else may use it. The department hopes to play their part in encouraging fashion to be more sustainable.
