This show was produced from 1 pm-9 pm CST on February 13, 2021, as a part of the national Student Television Network convention. Eight of the Hill Top News staff members competed in the “Crazy 8’s contest” to create an 8-minute long morning show newscast with all content in this episode being made during that time in just 8 hours. The 2021 contest was Rock Hill High School’s first time competing in the competition as this is the first school year the campus has been open.

Hill Top News is the live student-run television program at Rock Hill High School in Frisco, TX. Launched in 2020, the show’s goal is to connect and captivate the students of RHHS and the surrounding community. The show takes a non-traditional approach to television news broadcasting online to Rock Hill High School and viewers worldwide.
