Blue Hawks wrestle Dallas Hillcrest on the mat
Senior Navya Swali prepares to wrestle her opponent on wrestling senior night. "I usually talk to my teammates and Mattie and I, we have a thing where we tell each other what our goals are for the day, and it's a goal we've decided is not going to be winning," Swali said. "It's going to be something else that we want to get done."
On Friday Jan. 18, Rock Hill boys and girls wrestling took on Dallas Hillcrest at the Rock Hill Arena. After the ceremony for the seniors, the wrestlers were on the mats preparing before the match. Boys won with a score of 39-31 and girls won 51-15.
Catch the Blue Hawks at their Regional 2-6A Tournament at Allen High School on Feb. 10.
